This area is mostly forest with some fields. Facilities/features: picnic area, archery range, boat ramps, fishing jetties, and Perry County Community Lake (103 acres).

The two-and-one-half story red brick Romanesque Revival-style courthouse was built in 1904 in the center of a courthouse square in Perryville, the county seat. Scheduled tours available.

Perry County Military History Museum opened on Veteran’s Day in 2012. The museum’s mission is to honor and recognize Perry County Veterans. The museum has been described as a “hidden gem in Southeast Missouri.”

The Perry County Museum is a time capsule of Perry County eras gone by. Housed in the two-story home that Joseph and Mary (Broeker) Duerr built in 1881 this historical museum will transport you back to times forgotten.

Join the club at one of its two annual horse show. The fourth Saturday in June and second Saturday in September. Bring your horse to show or bring your lawn chair to enjoy the show. Fun time for all!

Facilities in the Park Center include an enclosed year-round aquatics center, gymnasium, racquetball courts, a meeting room, a free weight room, a cardiovascular room, an elevated walking / jogging track and a performing arts center.

Disc golf or frisbee golf is a flying disc sport which players throw a disc at the target using similar rules to golf. Perryville City Park has a 9 hole course. Park Center equipment rental is available.
